1995 Dodge Dakota Map Sensor Replacement

I have a 1995 Dodge Dakota that I need to replace the map sensor on. I need to know where its located and how to replace it.

Hello
Thanks for the donation.

Your vehicle's MAP sensor is mounted to the throttle body. It is connected by an L-shaped rubber fitting.

REMOVAL:
Remove the air cleaner assembly and the tube.
Remove the throttle body.
Remove the MAP sensor mounting hardware.
While removing the sensor, slide the rubber L-shaped vacuum fitting from the throttle body fitting.
Remove the rubber L-shaped fitting from the MAP sensor.

INSTALLATION:
Install the rubber fitting to the MAP sensor.
Position the sensor to the throttle body while guiding the rubber fitting over the throttle body vacuum fitting.
Install the MAP sensor mounting screws and tighten to 25 inch lbs. (3 Nm).
Install the throttle body, then the air cleaner assembly.
