1993 Dodge Dakota changing a engine

I want to put a bigger motor in my dodge dakota it has a v6 right now but I want a v8 so I just want to know if a v8 will bolt up to the transmission thats behind the v6 right now?

Don't know what trans is behind the V6. It may not hold the torque and hp of the V8.

That said, it should be a bolt up deal. Depending on the V8, Dodge has used the same bell housing arrangement for both.
