My 99 Dodge Grand caravan has a front right wheel stud broken. Doesn't appear to be a notch in the back so it can be knocked out and the repair manuals don't address it. Anyone know?

Take it to a tire shop. If you don't do a lot of high speed driving don't worry so much, you still have four!
If you carry CHILDREN get it done soon!

The tire shop are the ones who broke it and of course claimed the last person (them) cross threaded it. I just want to know if the there is a way someone has found to change them without disaaaembling the whole axle.

I recently had a problem with wheel studs braking in my dodge truck. My advice to you is to check the wheel itself and see if the stud holes have been damaged. If the one looks like it has been stretched or isn't perfectly round, replace the wheel. I didn't and the studs broke again a year later. A lot of times the studs break because they weren't tight enough and the wheel shifts. Also check all the studs to see if there is any damage. I would recomend changing them all anyways. I did mine the second time and they are not too expensive.
