I have a 1999 dodge caravan sport with 132000+ miles on it. My service engine light just came on and I had it checked at the local autozone. They told my wife that there were 6 codes all pointing to the transmission. Now it is slipping, jerking, and vibrating as soon as you put it into gear.I checked the fluid its fine what could be the problem?

Could be one of several things, hard to diagnose without more information.

The first, and cheapest, solution to try would be to have the transmission serviced.

Have them replace the fluid and filter.

I had an older vehicle that's bands were worn. The material removed was caking up in the bottom and had clogged up the filter. After changing the fluid and filter myself, it worked like a new transmission again.
