High Engine Idle

I have a 99 Dodge Caravan with 138,000 miles. The engine is a 3.3L with Flex Fuel. I just changed the Spark Plugs and Wires, however after I put everything back together and cranked the van it now revs up to 5000 rpms. It will go higher if touch the accelerator. I have checked all of my hoses and believe that they are back in the right spots and the spark plug wires are in the correct firing order. Is there anything else that will cause this to happen?

I exerienced something like this before in another vehicle. I found that a sensor connection had came loose. Check your sensor terminals, especially on the oil pressure sensor.

You might also check that one of the plug wires didn't stray into the throttle area.
