I believe that my car starter needs to be reprogrammed. Dodge/Chrysler want between $90-$135 to reset this. I talked to my old mechanic, who no longer works for Dogde, and he said if I can get the instructions, I could very possibly do this myself. I did call my regular garage and they said they don't have access to this info and it sounds like a dealer-only repair. This would also be the second reset I have had to do in the past 12 months. Any ideas?

Hi:
I'm not sure what you are refering to. A starter can't be reset. If it has to do with the computer, try disconnecting the battery for 5+ minutes and see if that helps.
