Hello,

Anyone know how much it should cost to replace sparkplugs and wires for a 2004 Dodge Grand Caravan? My wife took her van to a shop and the price quoted seems extremely excessive.

Thanks in advance.

I would think that a dealer would charge somewhere in around the $200 to $250 range in US dollars.
Platinum plugs $30
Wires $75
Labor 2 hours $120
The front plugs aren't bad but the rears are a pain. You either have to remove most of the intake system or work from underneath the vehicle.

Labor for the plugs on my truck is over 3 hours.

Whgat was your estimate?

Thanks,

The shop quoted:

$195 Labor
[u:43b14c9fb3]$193 Parts [/u:43b14c9fb3]- $118 for wires & $75 for plugs
$388 + Taxes

I had figured about the same as your estimates from what it had cost for me to do my own for my Honda Civic. I added more for the difficulty and extra plugs and wires.

Thanks
