Dear 2carpros -
My 2003 Dodge Caravan has 141,000 mi and is running fine. During an oil change at my dealership, the service manger suggested that I have a tune-up done and replace the ignition wires. The cost was to be $450 dollars - $450 to replace the spark plugs and ignition wires. Why so much? I can buy the spark plugs (platinum) and ignition wires for $80. Is there something else that needs to be done for a tune-up?
