First off, thank you for the previous answer you gave on my van heating system. If helped out alot. Now I have had a check engine light appearing on the dash since I picked it up from the mechanic. He turned it off the next morning when I brought it back. The next day it came back on. The light stays on. Now yesterday I went to fill the tank I discovered the fuel cap was almost coming off of the fuel neck. Could this be my problem with the engine light or do I need to pull the code out of the computer? Do I need to have the light turned off or will it go off by itself?

Any help would be greatly appreciated. Jason

Yes that could definitley be the problem. Most people don't understand that a loose or broken fuel cap will cause your check engine light to come on(no pressure). You must fix that then have the light turned offf at your nearest autozone or parts place for free.
Let me know what happens.
