Ck. Eng. Light came on, code p1684 then p0443 came up, couldn't find info. On p1684 but p0443 is evaporative emission control(EVAP) system, purge solenoid circuit malfuction. Hoses is a good fit, let eng. Get up operating temp. Couldn, t get any voltage to solenoid coil, the coil ohmed at 57.2 ohms. The light came on a few days ago, then went off an hour later. Was off a few days then came on again, don't know will happen when eng. Cools off. Can you help me locate the problem/problems. Thanks Robert L. Turner

Ignition off disconnect EVAP purge solenoid
located on lower right side of engine compartment near radiator
disconnect PCM connectors
PCM located on left side of engine compartment near front of battery
measure resistance of dark blue /white wire and terminal # 68
if more than 5 ohms
repair open in the dark blue /wire between solenoid and PCM
measure resistance of dark blue wire /white and ground purge solenoid connected if less then 5 ohms repair short to ground in the dark blue/white wire
check resistance of dark blue/brown wire between solenoid
harness connected and PCM pin #70 harness connected if 5 ohms or more repair an open in the dark blue/brown wire
