My service engine light came on and it seems to drive normally, so I took the van to autozone and had it checked. They gave me two codes. The first was p0700 which is transaxle cintrol system fault, which stated the explanation of the the transaxle control module has a fault. The second code was p1782, they said I would have to get the information on that from the manufacturer. I also recently had an oil change and told them the oil light had kept coming on and off could this be part of the problem? Could you tell me what the reason for these codes could be?

I cannot tell you exactly what this code means only because the transmission has its own computer that needs to be also tested. The Autozone tool is a PCM code. I would call around for a place that can scan just the transmission codes, they are stored in a different computer. Sorry about no dealer support. How does it shift? How is the fluid? It may need a service, a few quarts of oil, a fuse, or a transmission. It tells you how it works on the 'site menu' and also 'popular service repairs'. If you can give me more information I cqan offer you advice. OK?
127,000 mjiles is pretty good.

Good. Sometimes there are technical service bulletins regarding intermittant faults that occur including every single light and problems your experiencing. A dealer has reprogramming available for this. You would have to call one and provide them with your vehicle ID number. Its on the top left in front, near the windshield. Its on the dash pad. Also on the drivers door. And also under the hood on the decal. They will let you know if a reprogramming can be done. Thanks for your response and your thanks. It can be confusing out there. Always stop by. Your very welcome. I don't want to see you have any large failure because of confusing lights. See ya, have a good day. Ok
