1998 Dodge Caravan Left side strut mount ( frame)

1998 Dodge Caravan 6 cyl Front Wheel Drive Automatic

Where the left side strut mounts to the van, under the hood, is rotting away. Does dodge make a "donut" replacement part for this? I have asked around, and it seems like a common problem. Help.

Hi:
I don't believe Chrysler has a replacement part for that. However, you may be able to find a good one in a salvage yard, and hire (a professional) to weld it in place. Keep in mind, that is an important part of the suspension. If it breaks, that side of the vehicle will drop.
