1998 Dodge Caravan

After replacing the battery in my 1998 dodge caravan (127,000 miles) the A/C control panel and rear window wiper control button lights flash for 15 min's after starting the van. Everything works properly but the lights just flash for 15 min's. When the flashing stops the lights operate properly. Any ideas on what might be going on?

It should stop doing that after 12 or so starts. If not take it to a AZ parts store(if you know what I mean) and have them to clear the codes. There is a way to do this with the dashboard buttons but I can't remember.
