1997 Dodge Caravan jump to start

My van will only start if I jump it but my battery is new and it is not loosing the charge. I thought it might be the alternator but I have confirmed the battery is not being drained by putting the battery in another car and it starting right up without a jump.

If your battery is good, make sure the terminals are clean and tight. Somewhere you are loosing power from your battery and when you jump it, you connect right to the terminals, so the break down has to be there.

Let me know. Also, check the ground to the engine block to make sure it is clean and tight too.
