I turn on the windshield wiper switch and the wipers don't work. I activate the washer fluid and the wipers work. I replaced the wiper switch, and same issues. Any suggestions?

Seemed like every time any component was replaced, the BCM had to be reset. The front wiper motor relys on a set of relays in the power center, and they get power from a 30 amp fuse. If that fuse is good the wiper on relay or the wiper high/low relay may be bad. The control power is all in the power center, under the hood. Both use that 30 amp fuse but if the wiper on relay doesn't work, the other high/low relay will not operate also. I think it is a body computer problem as long as the 3 fuses in both fuse boxes are ok, 2 inside and one in engine power center. Yes. Yep. It is unreal the way this is wired. Thats it.

Ch112063 hit the nail on the head. New vehicles have WAY too many unnecessary unreliable computers. I've had three vehicles that needed new body computers to solve this problem. The clue is that the wipers do run when you use the washers. That proves the wiper motor, wiring, and fuses are ok.

I had the same problem and replaced the BCM and all is working now except for a little problem. When you turn on the ignition or roll the drivers window down, the wipers cycle once but it doesnt happen all the time. Any help would be appreciated.
