My vehicle is actually a Grand Caravan. My wipers go on and off by themselves while I am driving. The switch on the turn signal handle is turned off, but the wipers still work intermittently. They will go 5 or 6 times then nothing for 10-15 seconds and then they go again. They keep doing this forever and ever and ever and ever. The car has been at the shop for 3 weeks and they are puzzled. Any thoughts? Thanks!

I'm sure that a new wiper switch was tried and even a few other things. Have them try running a jumper wire from the back hex screw head on the motor cover screw attachments to a known good ground. Hey it worked on the older ones, so maybe. And the park switch is in the wiper motor, so it may be bad. And the delay is part of a couple relays located with all the others near the battery in the power distribution center. The lid has the fuse and relay id's. Try using another or the spares they sometimes include. There's a module on or near the interior fuse junction block test fuse 9, a 5 amp. And number 3, a 20 amp. And near the instrument panel center support is an instrument panel ground block where the wiper combination switch grounds. Print this and tell them I have been in the wiper hell they are in also. A 96 was a new breed of the caravan. I thought a new one parked on my lift one morning was a Ford. Ok
