1996 Dodge Caravan 6 cyl Two Wheel Drive Automatic

When we try to star the van we hear a clicking sound, and the van does not start. Would it be the starter? And how much wuold a starter cost if that was the problem?

Could be. Need more info. I take it that it does not turn. Is your battery good? Turn on headlights and see if they are bright, if so turn key and see if they dim and how much. Also find out if starter cyliniod is on starter (like chevy) or firewall (like ford). I am not a chrysler person. I have a list of possible causes, but start with battery first.
