When driving vehicle for approximately 1 mile transmission stalls after stalling if you either accelarate the gas or turning the vehicle off and on transmission works normal. What type of problem could this be?

What makes you say "the transmission stalls"? Is there a check engine light on?

There's no check engine light on! But the reason I say it's the transmission is cuz when it stalls and does not move after accelarating the gas paddle a couple of times it shifts into gear and drives then after driving for a hile the same thing happens.

Could it be something else other then the transmission that can cause that?

Well, a throttle position sensor will cause that too if faulty, like it could be saying that there is no accelaration going on when you actually are stepping on the pedal. Also the crank sensor could be going bad too. So check these two before we condemn the tranny
