After replacing new brake pads, caliper, and rotor, my right front brake seems to not release correctly, causing the brake pad to over heat and smoke. What do I need to check next?

1. Incorrect adjustment of light switch. <
2. Master cylinder pistons not returning correctly. <
3. Restricted brake lines or hoses.<< Well that makes sense. If something got in there when you replace them. Or some how didnt get the hose on right.

4. Incorrect parking brake adjustment.<< NO

5. Caliper piston sticking. Aka CALIPERS << well if they where your old ones id say yes, but since you replaced them it turns into a no.
Although maybe you got a bad one. Something blocking the release of fluid inside. The two steel guide pins not lubed correctly to give a free movement. Ask parts store if you can replace it. It just might be a free and easy fix.

Well dig into it thats all I got.
Give use a shout back and tell us what you find

good luck
