1992 Dodge Caravan HESITATES

My van has a hesitation with loss of power and popping noise in engine compartment at cruising speed of 60mph and also did it at 25mph. I have to flutter the gas pedal several times to get it back to speed. No engine light comes on. New fuel filter was replaced. Can you help?

Possibilities: Inspect and test all the following listed below:
Oxygen sensor.
Catalytic converter.
Fuel injectors dirty/sticking.
Mass airflow sensor/Airflow meter.
Throttle position sensor.
Crankshaft position sensor
Knock sensor
Manifold absolute pressure sensor.
EGR Valve
Fuel pressure regulator leaking or defective fuel pump.
False air leakage.
Fuel contamination.
Foul/defective spark plugs.
Open spark plug wires.
Ignition coil/Coil packs defective.
Incorrect ignition timing.
Cap and rotor.

Note:If it doesn't apply disregard it.
