Asked for a oil change got caliber back I heard a ticking noise I never heard before coming from engine sounding like lifters/valuves sticking?I check the oil and found the oil still looking black and overfill by about 3/4 quart so I drained the oil out untill it s the correct level now. I am wandering what to do now, my first thought is to change oil and filter myself. Does anyone know if there is any better option? Is there permant damage caused by overfilling the oil? Your help is appreciated!
THANK YOU!

If it was overfull by that amount, it shouldn't have caused the problem you described. My concern is that the oil is still black. It sounds like they didn't change it. Therefore, I would recommend doing it again.

LEt me know if you have other questions.
