Engine Cooling problem
1999 Dodge Avenger 6 cyl Automatic 135000 miles

I recently replaced the radiator in my 99 Avenger with one I got off a 97 Sebring. Although I can see no leaks, it's still running a good bit hotter than I'd like, mainly when in motion. When stationary, it seems to drop back down a little. Could the fact that the current radiator came from a 4-cyl, and my car is a 6-cyl, make any difference (the radiators are nearly identical from the outside)? Any suggestions?

Most radiators are the same size to fit the body opening. You need to look at how many rows of cores deep the radiators are. Your old 6 cylinder radiator might have three rows and the replacement might have two rows.
