Do I need a front end alignment?

I always went to the garage with my Dad when I was young and he told me you always had to get an alignment when you buy new tires.

About 6 months ago, I had a left front tie rod end replaced on my 2002 Caddy Deville and they did an alignment at the time.

I am now going to put 4 new tires on my car. Is it necessary to have another front end alignment done?

It is always a good idea to have the alignment checked. You will not know if you need an alignment until you have one done and if you needed one and don't get it done, you will have ruined your new tires before you find out you needed it.
Time is not really a factor. You can drive out of the alignment shop and hit a curb or a pothole on the way home and you just knocked you fresh alignment out.
