If CV shafts were replaced with shafts for an automatic (s/b manual) and the vehicle was driven for approximately 430 miles with wrong shafts.
Would there be any damage caused to any other parts in vehicle?

If any what damages should I be concerned about?

Please help. Thank you much in advance.

Good morning,

What issue led you to find out they are the wrong axles? There are many cars that the same axles are used for automatic and manual transmissions?

I attached the one for automatic and the one for manual. They are the same length and the same splines. The only difference is the thickness if the shaft. The manual is thicker than the automatic.

There should be no issue at all.

Thank you for your prompt response.
My main concern is as to what if any damage could of resulted due to axles installed being either defective from manufacture or wrong part?

Not at all. From all the specs, you are good to go.

Are you having any issues that make you worried about this?

Roy I still have concerns simply by the way things have played out. I will explain.
I just had my CV shafts both sides replaced. They did a thrust alignment on it. (I have printout which is of concern) Vehicle was pulling right so I took it back. They rotated my tires, the passenger for the driver and the driver for the passenger. Then thinking that my car was okay of course I drive it. Over four hundred miles a six hour trip on freeway vibrating, shaking, pulling. Like car was going to come apart. In addition makes thug noise driving over bumps.
Please I ask for another opinion as to what are the possibilities for this to be occurring. They tell me defective parts. Maybe, but what are the odds?

Okay, yes, it could be a bad CV joint in one of the shafts. It would or should have been checked by the shop that did the alignment if you complained about this issue prior to the alignment.

I would like to see the results of the alignment. Can you upload the results to the post?

The first image is one before and immediately after replacement of axles.
The second image is the next day after driving home and back. That is when the swapped front left and right tires.

My concern is the camber being out of adjustment in the first image after the alignment. Nothing should be in the red.

Did they check the joints and the axle?

Unsure what you mean by joints In the axle. They replaced shafts, CV axles from Autozone part # 8570N and #10890N.
Please explain. And could you verify that those are the right axles. And if there is more that they should look at.

Roy I understand your question. Answer is no. They removed and replaced whole axles.
The reason for repair CV cracked.

They are part of the shaft itself but even though they are replacements, they can still have an issue causing the vibration.

A tech can visually inspect them for abnormal movement to determine if the can cause this issue.

You are welcome.

Always glad to help.

Okay. Going back to the alignments. The first image after repair and next day after repair before another alignment.
Although camber still red
Did you notice difference in caster being red after I drove short distance?

Yep, that will cause pulling on the front end.

They are not adjustable. When those readings are off, something is bent or worn out in the suspension.

OMG. So the caster being in red after repair and after driving indicates something in suspension.
