Replaced the head gasket and all necessary gaskets cranks strong acts like it's wants to start but doesn't start. I need to know how to place the harmonic balancer in what exact position and also the CPS exact position or on what tooth to set it on.

Hi,

I attached the directions below for alignment and removing and replacing the sensor.

I'm not sure what you're experiencing, but if the crankshaft sensor is bad, in most cases you will not have spark to the plugs.

Take a look through the directions below and let me know if you have questions.

Take care,

joe

Hi,

You are very welcome. To possibly save yourself the trouble of replacing the sensor, confirm if there is or isn't spark at the spark plugs. If there isn't replace the sensor. If there is spark, chances are this is not the issue. Here is a link that explains how to test for ignition spark at the spark plugs:

Let me know how things turn out or if there is anything I can do to help.

Take care,

joe
