I bought the car from an auction and when it arrived it would not start. I started by changing the battery out the one that was in it was completely dead. After putting in a new battery it would try to turn over but wouldn’t start. I hit it with some starting spray, and it would run. So, from there I assumed I had a fuel issue. I started checking all the fuses and looking for a relay which I could not find. After doing tons of research all I could find was that there is a fuel control module and said that they go bad as well, so I changed it out. Changed out the high-pressure fuel pump as well as the low-pressure fuel pump. Have also pulled the mass air flow sensor. These are the codes I am getting. P0237, P16E8, p00BD, P0368, p0100, U1164. Any help is much appreciated!!

It seems like this car has many problems, I would check the carpets to see if there is water present, the BMW's have modules under there that get wet and cause strange problems like this.

P0237 - Turbocharger Boost Sensor "A" Circuit Low
P16E8 - Valvetronic System Fault
P00BD - Mass or Volume Air Flow "A" Circuit Range/Performance - Air Flow Too High
P0368 - Camshaft Position Sensor "B" Circuit High (Bank 1)
P0100 - Mass or Volume Air Flow Circuit Malfunction
U1164 - Lost Communication with Valvetronic System

If not, you will need to address these problems separately. I can tell you the P0368 code will be the main issue because these codes come up when the engine is having a problem with the timing chains/camshaft actuators. The terminal 30G and DME relays I would try swapping out as well. Please let us know what happens.
