Hi, I had A P0302 code so I have been trying to check it. I have replaced the COP and that did not fix the issue. So then I went into it deeper it seem to have plus twelve volts at the plug and coming from the center plug on the PCM, but I cannot find the ground. I put a test light between the ground at the COP and plus twelve volts battery it when it is supposed to fire it is extremely dim compared to the other working COP. Can you please tell me where to locate the ground so I can check for a bad wire?

Okay, there should only be two wires on the coil. One is twelve volts and the other is the return to the PCM. It will toggle the ground on and off to fire the coil after voltage build up. You will not be able to capture that with a voltmeter or a test light.

Did you replace the plug and check the compression?
