I am trying to replace my head temperature sensor, do I have to take the exhaust y-pipe off to get to the sensor?

Hello,

Yes, on this vehicle you will have to remove the Y-pipe in order to replace the cylinder head temperature sensor.

I have attached diagrams below for your reference.

Please let me know if you have any questions.
Thank you.

Thanks' Sean. I got it done and from what I could see is the only other way would be taking the head off. I don't think they could have found a worse place to put the head temperature sensor.
