My situation is very similar if not identical to the post by TYPE85 on Friday April 24, 2020, in regard to codes P0135, P0141, P0155, P0161, P0403 and P0443. I was driving my vehicle, and suddenly, the check engine light came on. I scanned the PCM and got the above codes. I visually inspected the wire harness of all the oxygen sensors. The drive side wire harness of the oxygen sensors looks fine. However, the passenger side oxygen sensors wire harness all four wires of both sensors were frayed/baren (see photo). The vehicle drives fine. No hesitation or rough idling. The codes do come back after "clearing" them. I read in TYPE85 conversation that the exposed wires could cause the PCM to go out. And did he replace a "chip" in the "original" ECM and if I don't have this option available to me what should I do? Any idea what could have caused the wires to get frayed only on one side.

Yep, it looks like rodents may have eaten the wires which is common. I would tape them up or cut the wires and use butt connectors to repair the damage. Clear the codes once the job is complete to see if the PCM has been damaged. If so, the PCM on this car is plug and play so any used PCM will work. Here is the location in the images below.

Hi Ken,

I have realized today that all four oxygen sensors wire harnesses got that "bare" wires damage. The damaged wires are inside the harness loom. I had to cut open into the harness loom to see the wire damage. Please see attached photos.

Hmm, yep that needs to be fixed, also I have seen the PCM go out and cause all of these codes so if after you have repaired the wiring if the problem is still there swap out the PCM which is easy because it is plug and play no programming required. Check out the images (below). Please let us know what happens.

I replaced the PCM with a remanufactured unit. The codes went away. Thank you, Ken!
