Hello,

I would make sure that your gas cap is on and good and tight. Yes, believe it or not a loose gas cap can cause this Direct Trouble Code(DTC) to set. If you want to save the money that it would take to put it in the shop, we can do all the tests ourselves and find and fix the problem that way. The only special tools it would reguire would be a vacuum pump with a gauge, and you should be able to rent this for free at an Autozone, just leaving a refundable deposit. I have gone ahead and listed the factory troubleshooting list that walks you through step by step the procedures needed to track down the problem for this DTC. They are simple and straight forward. Please go through this guide and get back to us with what you find out.

Thanks,
Alex
