Clutch pedal just falls

My clutch just sits on the floor its engaged enough to where I can start the car but not put it in gear I have baught a new clutch cable and its tight but the pedal still falls any solutions. Aand I was wondering of it might be the spring on the pedal

Probably the clutch is worn out. Try adjusting clutch see pic should have about 1/8" free play at pedal.
