I need the full wiring diagram for the clock spring. I have added a new steering wheel with audio controls, so I need to know all the wiring go in the clock spring but more importantly going out of the clock spring (there is one 9 pin connector (grey/inside red) that connects to the clock spring going out). So, I can connect the audio steering wheel buttons to the Android radio. Any help would be great!

Hi, I attached pics below which include the clock spring. However, I'm seeing 4 wires direct from them and not 9. That doesn't mean there aren't others.

Take a look through the schematic and let me know if that is what you needed.

Take care and let me know if you have other questions.

Joe

See pics below. Note: I had to cut each schematic in half to make them readable. I did overlap them so you can follow from one to the next.

Thanks Joe,
However, it's an 8 pin not 9 my mistake also there is a 10 pin at the bottom the clock spring. I think I need the schematics of the steering wheel controls this just shows the airbag.

Hi,

I just ran through the schematics again. It is not providing a wiring schematic for those controls. Interestingly, I have tests for several codes related to the steering column control module (SCCM).

I was able to find the ten-pin connector you mentioned. See pic 1. It does describe what each pin is designated for.

When I try to find schematics related, it breaks it down by component, radio, nav, cruise control. (See pic 2).

By chance, were there diagnostic trouble codes stored? Also, is there do you see anything in pic 2 that you would find helpful?

Let me know.

Joe

If you are adding to it and there is no prewiring available, then there really won't be a schematic for it since extras like volume control or phone would need to be wired through some sort of body module along with software?
