Can I replace the clocks spring with a used part from a salvage yard? And will my blinkers, horn, wipers, and high beams work without the airbag plugged in?

Hi Cindy,

You can use a clock spring from another vehicle but just make sure you are replacing the clock spring only and not the steering column module. The SCM cannot be swapped between vehicles. Also, if the air bag is unplugged, you should still have steering wheel controls because they are wired directly to the SCM. The clock spring is uses as a pass through for these connections so as long as they are plugged in, you should be good.

Please let me know if you need any more information.
