2003 Citroen C3 battery

Hi, I need to renew the battery on the c3, and will need to take it off for a long period, about two days in all.
will it be ok when I replace it for the new as I understand that the electronics are rather prone to play about when things are subject to being tampered with i.E. If radios are changed etc etc as I have read on different forums.
will I need to have the computor updated when it is replaced or will it be ok.

You will need the radio code when re-installing new batttery. The computer will not need re-setting. But you will have to drive the vehicle in normal, everyday traffic conditions for it to relearn it's settings (drive cycle)
