recently my oil pressure sensor alarm has been coming on intermittently when coming to a stop.the vehicle is well maintained with frequent oil and filther changes.ther are no leaks and the levels are good.If i power brake the vehicle gently raising the RPM to 750-850 the alarm stops.Could this be a clogged sensor or tune up issue or pump issue.I cannot find the recommended rpm at idle setting.

hi:
When the light comes on, do you hear any knocking or ticking from the engine?

Let me know. Also, take a look at the oil sending unit. I believe it is right above the oil filter. See if there is any oil on it.
