Having only brothers I am unsure exactly how to speak with her. Check your transmission fluid in park, hot with the parking brake on. Have her help, ok. The small capful could only improve the transmission, not cause your engine to start missing. With such high mileage you necer know. Have your engine and transmission tested for codes. Sounds more like a fuel or spark timing problem in the engine.
Have it's fuel pressure tested. At that mileage many things, including the transmission are in need of servicing.
I saw someone put a half gallon of anti-freeze in a overdrive trans I just overhauled. Good thing it was not my sister, or brother.
She meant to help. Do you also have an engine problem. This is more likely.
