1996 Chrysler Town and Country Shake!

I just bought a used 96 town and country lxi, the person I bought it from told me before I bought it that it had a shake accellerating at about 40-50 mph. This shake is horrable and only under acceleration, as soon as you let go of the pedal it stops hit the gas pedal again and shakes again. I mean this is a bad shake. And the shake seems to be coming from the front and feels side to side. Someone please help me! Thankyou for your time any input you have would be greatly appreciated.

You are gonna have to have your axles inspected, along with the front suspension(ball joints, tierods) very important that you do this, as it may cause you to lose control of your vehicle, we cant tell you exactly what it is because we cant see it, it could be any one of the items that I mentioned.
