Is the alternator for a 2000 though 2004 the same I have a 2002 and soneone put one on and it look to big

Hello,

If it mounted correctly then it is the right one. If it was to big it wouldn't mount.

If still concerned you can call your local parts store and have them look it up for bith vehicles. If numbers match your good.
