This is on the top of the engine to the left when the hood is raised. It is leaking antifreeze. Does the intake gasket of unit need to be replaced?

Hello,

I think the part you are talking about is the thermostat housing, that is located on the upper part of the engine and coolant runs through it.
Typically the gasket that goes under the housing leaks and needs to be replaced.
Only work on the vehicle when it is cool.
Remember to clean off the old gasket before putting on the new one.

I have attached replacement procedure for your reference.

Please let me know of any questions.

Thank you.
