The lifters don't lift and I would like to replace.
How is that done?

Hello -

You can obtain these at say an Auto Zone or O'Reilly's. You can also get from the dealer.

I don't show directions in the two manuals I am looking at. This is probably due that it is general maintenance.

Basically, the ends will be one of a couple different types. There may be a clip that slides down over the connector that fits over a knob on the trunk and body to lock onto the knob.

Some, you must pull straight out to overcome the clamps that hold onto the knobs.

If you do go to Auto Zone or O'Reilly's they generally are happy to show you the lifts they have and how they connect and yours come off.
