It's around a two hour job on either V6 but you'll need to release the tension on the tensioner to get the serpentine belt off, do this after you take the radiator out first after draining the system and disconnecting the battery for safety.
Piece of cake. We called this type of job a "gravy job" because it paid well and was not too hard like doin a transmission or full engine overhaul. Ok?
Replave the belt and tensioner, take the pulley off first(crack the screws for it) while the belt is tight. Then the belt. This gives you access to the water pump mounting screws. Do it when it's cold and wait until you see the new thermostat open before topping off the radiator, filling the overflow bottle and roadtesting with the heater on. Ok
