1996 Chrysler LHS 6 cyl Automatic 195000 miles

Bank 1 Sensor 1 keeps showing up on the code reader. I tried calling the parts shop to get the oxygen sensor but they say they need to know which side the sensor is on. Which side and is it up stream or down stream that is bad. I could really use the help my car is running rough!

Bank 1 refers to the sensor that is on the same side of engine as the number 1 cylinder. Sensor 1 is the sensor in front of the converter, closest to the motor.
