my tramission wont shift why and how do you fix it

Unfortunately, there's many reasons why your transmission won't shift. Are you saying that it won't shift at all from first gear?

You could have a burned out friction disc in the tranny, a loose/corroded wire, a bad computer, etc.

And if you don't know how to overhaul a transmission (I don't even know how after 15-years in the industry), you'll have to take it to a shop.
