Chrysler Cirrus 1998 engine light stays on when braking

My 98 Cirrus has a problem, when I drive sometime in local, if I use braking system when meeting red light, the engine light is lighting. But when I run on highway or not using brake, the light is off. What's the problem?

Have you attempted to bring your car in to a place like autozone to get the codes read? That should help alot. If you need service bring it to your mechanic if you need a part you can always check your local salvage yards to see what they have in stock.
