My keyless remote will not open the doors from the outside. However when the key is in the ignition, the remote will unlock the doors.

Also, my radio will not turn on. I have noticed that when I turn on the car that I hear a noise from the radio (or under the dash) like I had put a cd in and it's starting to turn then stops. It's a higher pitch noise. And after I turn the car off, I hear the same sound for a couple of seconds then it stops again.

I visually checked the fuses for the locks and the radio and they look fine.

Does this sound like a short somewhere?

Try replacing the battery for the remote keyfob. The battery may be on the weak side. Other than that, I have no other info for you.

As for the radio, sounds like the CD tray mechanism is faulty. Internally, the radio thinks that a CD is being loaded/ejected, and the tray mechanism gets stuck, making the radio shuts off. You are better off getting an aftermarket radio installed, rather than getting the old unit repaired or getting an OEM one from the dealer.
