How to change the battery?

Ensure keys are out of the ignition.
Remove any braces, if necessary, that may be holding battery in place.
Disconnect the ground wire (black) from battery terminal, then insulate the end of wire with electrical tape for protection until installing new battery.
Disconnect the hot wire (red) from battery terminal and insulate same as ground wire for protection.
Remove battery from vehicle.
Install new battery with reverse procedures.

Your battery is located in the front left wheel well in its own little compartment. I suggest you remove the front left wheel for easier access. There is a plastic access panel that must be removed before the battery can be disconnected and removed. It is very different location then most vehicles.
