A click sound when turning the key to start. The battery is fully charged. It will start after several attempts but the problem is getting worse.

Hi:

The solenoid is bad on the starter. Inside it is trying to make contact with a copper disc that most likely pitted and bad. That is where the click comes from. After several trys, it will usually make contact and start the car. Eventually, it will go bad and not start. I would remove the starter and have it bench tested at the local parts store. Most likely it will need replaced.
