My Chrysler 300C codes out with P1416 and I also get multiple engine misfires code p0300, #6 cylinder p0306 and #7 cylinder p0307. I have maintained my vehicle properly. What is causing the problem and what parts or service do I need to correct the problem?

P1416 has to do with the MDS (multiple displacement system) not working for cyl 6 which could also cause the P0306 code. The other misfire code migth not come back if the cyl 6 problem is fixed. Possible causes are- Solenoid/ solenoid shorted to ground or circuit open, low oil pressure at the lock pins, restricted oil passage, lifter, PCM. This might be a little beyond DIY, should probably a have a reputable shop look at it
