Engine hesitates and jerks while driving.

I have a 1995 six cylinder Cheyenne pick-up that hesitates and jerks while driving at speeds between 25-55 miles per hour. I've changed the fuel filter, spark plugs and wires and nothing has helped. It seems to be getting worse. Has anyone experienced this problem and how was it resolved? Thanks.

I have got a 1995 jeep cherokee and mine has been doing that too. Its been doing this for 3 weeks and today I was coming home after I stopped at a red light and took off andit jerked and died then this is weird I put my foot on the gas peddle it wouldnt do anything then I tryed it again and my jeep started running again. Mine started after I put cheep gas in mine jeep.I had the fuel filter changed but its still acting up. Im afraid it gonna leave me stranded. I may have water in my gas dont know. Good luck I hope we get it figured out.
