Engine was rebuilt. When accelerating it will pop or miss. High rmp between shifts pop or miss. It has new plugs, wires, cap, rotor, throttle position sensor. Check engine light is "off". Any ideas?

Sounds like a vacuum leak. Check al your vacuum lines. They can be hard and brittle or soft and gummy but either way tha=ey need to be replaced if they leak.

Good luck and let us know.

There was a vacuum leak on the front of the throttle body. I fixed it, but it still runs rough. Could it be the timing?
